Today lesson is about How to be a professional designer. First we must have comprehensive knowledge of design fundamentals and theories. Then, we need self study. Third we must have sensitive observation and mastery of details. After that, we need to have good collaborative and communication skills. The next point is have strong sense of responsibility and team work. Beside that ,we should accumulate social experience while keeping abreast of trends. We also have to concern about individual virtue development. Enhance creative and ideation abilities continuously is also a key point to be a professional designer. Last, present personality in value creation.
Dr.Tan had shares some movie which is The King's Speech Movie and Day it forward. Beside that Dr.Tan told us that we can protect our design by swearing in court to make a copyright which can prove that is our artwork especially when we design an artwork for a company to avoid cheated.

1. Who are designer?
A designer is who makes design for something. In practice, anyone who creates tangible or intangible objects, products, processes, laws, games, graphics, services, and experiences is referred to as a designer.
2. What are the roles and responsibilities of designer?
The roles of designer is not only to become a imaginative person but also need to be a listener and coordinator. As a designer you'll need to listen to clients and understand their needs before making design decisions.Responsibilities of designer, as usual is submit work before deadline, and the most important thing is achieve requirement.
3. How do you want to be a professional designer?
In my opinion, in this technology generation, to be a professional designer we need to know a lot of technology skill for example photoshop because most of the design will be do by using technology. Beside that, we also need good communication skill (If you know other languages it will become one of your superiority), be creative (design somethings new) and the most importance thing is experience.
